Right from the beginning we have been very active in all activities relevant to the control of environmental pollution and protection of environmental quality. We are constantly devoting our efforts and resources to maintain clean environment and sustainable growth. We are adopting new and advanced technologies for achieving highest standards of performance in our EMS. We are equally active in creating environmental awareness in industry, public and workers. We are striving to continually improve our capability in waste minimization, energy efficiency, cleaner production, eco-industrial development, treatment and safe disposal of waste.
- Expansion of CETP from 16 MLD to 35 MLD
- Installation of Fenton Catalytic Reactors as Tertiary Treatment facility of 35 MLD capacity at the cost of @ Rs 62 crore to remove non biodegradable COD
Uniqueness
- As per CPCB & GPCB calculations the CEPI score of 2016 is 54.22 which is the lowest in all the industrial estates of GUJARAT
- Only estate in the country which has all pollution control common facilities viz., CETP, TSDF, MEE, spray drier and spent acid management, under Co-operative body
- The cheapest and most efficient internal effluent collection system which envisage 100% control over quality and quantity of the effluent discharged by the member unit.
- CETP does not have any flow diversion arrangement.
- Online pH, TOC, COD, BOD and TSS at the CETP outlet are monitored on hourly basis and data transferred to CPCB and GPCB
- NABL Accredited LAB
- Billing and monitoring visit of member unit is being done based on software.
- SCADA –PLC based sump rooms for quantifying effluent discharged by the members.
- Auto sampler installed for composite and continuous sampling of the effluent discharged by the members.
